Tennis Star Laura Robson Returns to the Court After 17 Months

British tennis star Laura Robson has announced she will be returning to professional tennis after 17 months off the court due to a wrist tendon injury.

Robson, a former number one player, hasn’t played since the 2014 Australian Open, where she lost in the first round.

“I am looking forward to making my return to the tour and I am excited to compete in front of the great Eastbourne fans again,” Robson said.

She will play at the Aegon International at Eastbourne this weekend.
