Brewers’ Scooter Gennett Requires Stitches After Bathroom Injury

Professional baseball second baseman Scooter Gennett proved even pro athletes can injure themselves doing everyday tasks.
Gennett needed five stitches after lacerating a knuckle on his left hand in the shower last Sunday night after the Milwaukee Brewers’ game in Pittsburgh.
“I went to grab some body wash. It was definitely a freakish thing. It started bleeding everywhere”.
Gennett believes he will return to the lineup by Wednesday, but Brewers Manager Ron Roenicke seems prepared for the worst, stating “If we feel like we need to (play without Roenicke), then that’s what we’ll do.”
