Boxing Titlist Vasyl Lomachenko Suffers Wrist Injury

Featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the best amateur fighters in boxing history, suffered a left-hand injury during his fight with Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo. Lomachenko injured his left hand in the sixth round. According to Lomachenko: “I had a lot of pain in my (left) wrist beginning in the sixth round but (I) battled through it.” Lomachenko went on to win the fight.
