All-Star Wizards Player John Wall Not Likely to Need Surgery

Dr Pruzansky | June 1, 2015

Even after playing multiple games with five fractures in his left hand and wrist, All-Star point guard John Wall is confident he won’t need wrist or hand surgery.

Wall said his hand was “very sore” when he returned to the court after a three-game reprieve last week, but wasn’t complaining when it got bumped, stating “I knew it was going to happen.”

This week Wall will like be visiting a hand surgeon about the injury to find out what will be needed for the injuries to heal properly.

Wall’s injury was a result of crashing down on his left wrist while trying to avoid Jeff Teague on a breakaway.
