St. Louis Blues Lose Forward Vladimir Tarasenko to an Injury to His Right Hand
Dr Pruzansky | March 20, 2014
The St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko injured his hand on Saturday after scoring in the second period in their win over the Predators. There was no indication exactly what caused the injury, but it will require surgery and Tarasenko will be out at least six weeks. The left-handed shooting right winger may have a metacarpal or finger fracture from an earlier impact or tore a wrist ligament during an errant shot. Surgery is scheduled for 3/19/14, which will be followed by immobilization and rehab.
