Record Breaking Quarterback Trevone Boykin Undergoes Surgery
Dr Pruzansky | April 6, 2015
Last season Texas Christian University’s quarterback Trevone Boykin suffered an injury to his left, non-throwing wrist, which caused him to play with a soft cast on his left hand throughout the remainder of the season.
The Thursday before last, Boykin had surgery to repair the injured bone. According to recent interviews, the surgery was “Minor” and TCU coach Gary Patterson said to reporters “Everything is great. He will be ready to go by the first of May”.
The team has one spring game scheduled for April 10, but Patterson always planned for Boykin to sit out of that game.
Last season Boykin finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting after throwing a record-breaking 3901 yards and 33 touchdowns.
