New Jersey Devils left wing/center Adam Henrique had Surgery Thursday to repair a ligament injury in his left wrist.
According to reports, two ligaments needed to be repaired, and Henrique was fitted with a cast that goes from his left wrist to above his elbow.
Henrique is expected to begin rehab in four to six weeks, and return to the ice within 2 to 3 months.
Henrique said his wrist started bothering him significantly “around Christmas/January” and that he’ll be ready before the start of training camp.
Even with the injury, Henrique was still able to lead the team with 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) in 75 games last season.
