Dorell Wright Fractures Hand in Fourth Quarter

Dorell Wright fractured the fourth metacarpal in his left hand Wednesday night in the Trail Blazers’ loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the bone closest to his palm on his ring finger.
X-Rays confirmed the fracture, and hand surgeons determined this type of injury typically takes 4-6 weeks to heal.
Wright suffered the injury in the fourth quarter when he got caught in a screen set by DeAndre Jordan. It was immediately clear that he was injured as he quickly grabbed for his left hand in pain.
Wright is averaging 4.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 12.2 minutes in 47 games this season.
