Dodgers pitcher Chad Gaudin underwent carpal tunnel release surgery last Monday, and is expected to return to pitching within a month.
Gaudin had the surgery performed in Arizona while the rest of the team practiced for the beginning of the regular season.
Gaudin was a starting pitcher in 2013 for the San Francisco Giants but has not appeared in a major league game since. In 2013 Gaudin had a 5-2 record with a 3.06 ERA in 97 innings.
