Devils’ Winger Jiri Tlusty Out 3 to 4 Months With Wrist Injury
Dr Pruzansky | January 25, 2016
New Jersey Devils’ winger Jiri Tlusty is expected to be off of the ice for three to four months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist on January 22nd.
Tlusty has suffered from multiple injuries this season, including a shoulder injury in October and an upper body injury in November which kept him sidelined for nine games.
Tlusty’s torn wrist ligament injury has kept him from playing the last six games. Even after a successful surgery to treat his wrist pain, he is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Tlusty signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Devils in September and has played 30 games this season. He has scored two goals and two assists.
