Houston Linebacker Brian Cushing Undergoes Wrist Surgery

Last week Houston Texan linebacker Brian Cushing revealed he had played part of last season with a wrist injury, and has underwent wrist surgery now that the 2014 season is over.

According to Cushing, he had experienced wrist bruising before, which got better every day.

However, this time his wrist kept getting “worse and worse” and he knew something was wrong. After examination by a professional wrist surgeon, Cushing was told he would need surgery.

Cushing played 14 games last season, while still recovering from a pair of knee surgeries. Analysts expect Cushing to recover within approximately three months.
