For the second game in a row, 76er’s star player Nerlens Noel sat out due to a wrist injury. According to sources, he has noticeable bruising on his right wrist and hand.
The Sixers say that he suffered the basketball injury when he fell during their recent loss against the Cavaliers. Noel was able to participate in practice drills Tuesday, but stayed away from contact drills and scrimmage matches.
Noel said Tuesday that his wrists weren’t “too bad” and that he was currently “day to day.”
He’s averaging 12.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 steals over the course of the six games he’s played this season.
